Appointments
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule by calling our office at (555) 123-4567 during business hours, or by using the contact form on our website. Established patients can also request appointments through the patient portal.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes! We welcome new patients and are happy to schedule a consultation. Please call our office or complete the new patient registration forms available on our downloads page.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card(s), a list of current medications, and any completed patient forms. If transferring care, please arrange for your previous records to be sent to our office before your appointment.
What is your cancellation policy?
We request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. This allows us to offer your appointment time to another patient who needs care. Repeated no-shows may result in dismissal from the practice.
Insurance & Billing
What insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most major insurance plans including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Humana, Medicare, and Medicaid. Please call our office to verify your specific plan before your visit.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we offer payment plans for larger balances. Please speak with our billing department to discuss options. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.
What if I don't have insurance?
We welcome self-pay patients and offer competitive cash-pay rates. Please contact our office for pricing information. Payment is expected at the time of service for self-pay patients.
Pregnancy Care
When should I schedule my first prenatal visit?
We recommend scheduling your first prenatal appointment when you miss your period and have a positive pregnancy test. Your first visit is typically around 8-10 weeks gestation.
How often will I have prenatal visits?
For a normal pregnancy: every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, every 2 weeks from 28-36 weeks, and weekly from 36 weeks until delivery. High-risk pregnancies may require more frequent visits.
Which hospital do you deliver at?
Please contact our office for information about our hospital affiliations and delivery options.
What should I do if I think I'm in labor?
Call our 24-hour OB line at (555) 999-OBGYN. Signs of labor include regular contractions, water breaking, or significant bleeding. For emergencies, call 911 or go directly to the hospital.
